This last weekend we sent out two hundred invitations to churches and people throughout our Presbytery and beyond. The dinner is on April 19th at El Montecito Presbyterian Church. It is a celebration of where Word of Life has been. Its past joys and God's blessings; while looking to the future. We are excited about sharing with people the vision that we have been given and how far on the process we are. It is going to be a night that you will not want to miss.

Still Under Construction
The site is still working on being put together, but thought of sharing a little of what is going on here at Word of Life. Three weeks ago the congregation and elders dedicated their gifts to God. All realized that this was over and above their normal tithes. Over $28,000 were pledged to be given by July 29th! That was a blessing from God.
Our vision is to relocate and provide services for the community of Ventura, Oxnard, and Port Hueneme. We are doing that already but are dreaming about the possibilities that could unfold. All together we are attempting to raise $150,000. This is being from outside donors, grants, and from the congregation. This will help us staff, relocate, and program for the next year at least.
